A True Taste of
Nashville

swirl divider

For over 30 years, The Row was the hangout spot for singers & songwriters who helped shape country music history. With our distinct Nashville cuisine and nightly live music, we are still living up to our reputation of being a "True Taste of Nashville".

Right here is where Brooks & Dunn were introduced, where Earl Bud Lee sold the rights to "friends in low places" for a bar tab, and where song writing legend Harlan Howard held court every afternoon.

We pay homage to the Working Class Poets of Nashville.

Why Nashville Calls Us First

4,000+ Five-Star Reviews from Locals and Visitors

Nashville locals, tourists, and food critics all agree — The Row delivers. We're one of the highest-rated Southern restaurants on Google, Yelp, and TripAdvisor because every plate and every pour earns it.

30+ Years of Nashville Music History on Every Wall

This is the room where Brooks & Dunn were introduced, where Earl Bud Lee traded "Friends in Low Places" for a bar tab, and where Harlan Howard held court every afternoon. You are not eating at a themed restaurant — you are sitting inside the real story.

Scratch-Made Southern Food with Locally Sourced Tennessee Ingredients

No heat lamps. No frozen shipments. Every dish is built from scratch using ingredients sourced from Tennessee farms and purveyors. You'll taste the difference between a tourist trap menu and food someone actually cooked for you.

Live Music Every Night — No Cover, No Gimmick

Nightly live music from Nashville's working songwriters and musicians, the same community that made Music Row legendary. You get a real Nashville evening with your meal — not a Broadway bar shouting over you.

Featured Experiences

Nashville Hot Chicken

Nashville hot chicken isn't a trend here — it's a birthright. The Row's version is built from scratch, seasoned and fried in-house, and served the way it was meant to be: crispy, layered with real heat, and paired with Southern sides that cool the burn.

Group Dining

Coordinating a group dinner in Nashville shouldn't require a project manager. The Row handles groups — bachelor and bachelorette parties, corporate outings, family reunions, pre-concert dinners — with a full Southern menu, a bar that keeps up, and a room that doesn't cram you into a corner.

Full Bar & Cocktails

The Row's bar isn't an afterthought bolted onto a restaurant. We pour craft cocktails, Tennessee whiskey, local beers, and classic Southern drinks from a full bar that runs morning to night.

Game Day Dining

Vanderbilt kickoff. Predators face-off. Titans Sunday. The Row turns into Nashville's go-to game day spot with screens, a full bar, and a Southern food menu that makes stadium nachos look tragic.

Common Questions

Walk-ins are always welcome, and we seat them on a first-come, first-served basis. That said, weekends, brunch hours, and game days fill up fast — especially during football season and major events near Bridgestone Arena. If you're coming with a group of six or more, calling ahead at (629) 263-7418 is the smart move.

Both — and that's the point. The Row has been a Music Row staple for over 30 years, long before Nashville became a bachelor-party destination. Our 4,000+ reviews come from locals in Midtown, West End, and Hillsboro Village alongside visitors who found us because Nashvillians told them to skip Broadway and come here instead.

Yes, we have live music nightly, and no, there's never a cover charge. Our stage features Nashville's working songwriters and musicians — the same community that built Music Row's legacy. You get real Nashville music with your meal, not a jukebox or a DJ.

Absolutely. We regularly host groups for bachelorette parties, corporate dinners, birthday celebrations, and pre-concert gatherings. Our team can arrange seating, customize the experience, and make sure your group is set up before you arrive. Call us at (629) 263-7418 or email management@therownashville.com to plan ahead.

Our menu is rooted in Southern cooking, but it's bigger than fried chicken and pulled pork. You'll find Nashville hot chicken, shrimp and grits, scratch-made biscuits, comfort food staples, plus American classics with a Southern twist. Everything is made from scratch with locally sourced Tennessee ingredients. We also serve a full brunch menu on weekends and have a complete bar program with craft cocktails.

We're located right on Music Row in Nashville's Midtown area — easy to reach from The Gulch, SoBro, West End, Demonbreun Corridor, and Vanderbilt. Street parking and nearby lots are available, and we're a quick rideshare from downtown, Broadway, Bridgestone Arena, and the Ryman Auditorium.
